The Kenyan Ministry of Health has announced that 141 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 from 3,307 samples tested in the last 24 hours, bringing to 37,489 the number of confirmed positive cases.
Speaking during a press briefing on Thursday, Health CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi also announced that five more patients had succumbed to COVID-19 bringing the total number of fatalities recorded so far to 669.
At the same time, the number of recoveries rose to 24,334 after 81 patients recovered from the virus.
