Nine more people in Kenya have tested positive for COVID-19, raising the country’s total number of confirmed cases to 225.
The announcement was made Wednesday by the Health Ministry in its daily updates, saying over 800 samples had been tested.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe made the announcement saying all the new patients were Kenyans and that five cases were reported in Nairobi and four in Mombasa.
The CS also said that 12 more people had been discharged from hospital raising the number of recoveries to 53.
The number of those who have died from the coronavirus in the country stands at 10, after one more person died today.
