Zambian leader consoles British PM after hospitalization

Zambian President Edgar Lungu on Tuesday expressed sadness over reports of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson being diagnosed with COVID-19.

The British prime minister was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Lungu said his thoughts and prayers were with the British prime minister, his family and the people of the United Kingdom.

He wished the British prime minister a very swift recovery and a rapid return to good health. Johnson was admitted to hospital on Sunday evening.
