Jewish community faults anti-Chinese sentiment in S. Africa

The Jewish Community in South Africa has taken a stand against racism targeted at Chinese citizens in the country. Anti-Chinese sentiment has been growing in Africa and other parts of the world as more cases of coronavirus continue to be reported.

South Africa confirmed its third case of COVID-19 after results came out positive for yet another person. In a statement from the ministry of health and which was posted on twitter, the second patient was in direct contact with the first one.

Both were part of 10 others who had traveled to Italy and returned to South Africa.
