Lessons in fighting COVID-19 from China

Read < 1 minute

China reported a record low of 20 new cases and 17 deaths on Monday.

Most of them are in Hubei Province, where the outbreak began in December. The country’s total number of confirmed cases now stands at nearly 81 thousand. But more than 70 percent of patients have recovered, while more than 3,000 have died.

President and CEO of the Africa Policy Institute Professor Peter Kagwanja joined CGTN’s Lindy Mtongana to share his thoughts on what lessons Africa could learn in combating COVID-19.
