At CGTN Africa we’ve been doing our best to give you the latest on the novel coronavirus outbreak. C-G-T-N’s Beatrice Marshall and Douglas Okwatch took a break from covering the 33rd AU summit to visit Ethiopia’s national broadcaster, E-T-V.

They were featured on a segment highlighting China’s fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia.

Beatrice Marshall, one of CGTN Africa’s anchors, discussed the support African countries have given to China.

While CGTN’s Douglas Okwatch urged the world to offer support, not condemnation to China.

He also called on countries to follow the W.H.O’s guidelines and avoid drastic action that could trigger widespread panic.
