Uganda quarantines over 100 people to help control epidemic

Uganda says it has quarantined over a hundred people, 43 of these are Chinese Nationals.

This comes as the World Health Organization is asking African countries with significant numbers of people traveling from China to heighten intervention efforts to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The Ugandan Health ministry says it is well prepared in the event of an outbreak in the country.

Screening has been stepped up at all entry points including the main international airport.
