Salah, Keita score to send Liverpool into UCL last 16

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and Guinean midfielder Naby Keita both scored for the second straight game as Liverpool beat Red Bull Salzburg 2-0 to qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Both players were also on target in the 3-0 win away to Bournemouth in the Premier League over the weekend.
After a goalless first half featuring a host of chances for both sides, Liverpool opened the scoring in the 57th minute through Keita.
The Guinean midfielder drafted in to replace the injured Fabinho is making the most of the Brazilian’s time out on the sidelines with another imperious performance.
Senegal’s Sadio Mane dribbled past a defender on the left wing, drew out Salzburg keeper Cican Stankovic and provided a perfectly weighted chip for Keita to head into the net.
Salah, having being guilty of missing easier chances previously, then doubled the European champions’ lead just a minute later in spectacular fashion.
The Egyptian pounced on a loose header by a defender and beat both defender and a charging goalkeeper to slot the ball in at a tight angle using his weaker right foot.
Liverpool the held on for the win which saw them finish top of Group E, one point ahead of Napoli who beat KRC Genk 3-0 in Italy.
The draw for the last 16 of the competition will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday, December 16. It is scheduled to start at 11 am GMT.
