At least 15 people were killed after an explosion occurred at a ceramic factory in Bahri City’s industrial zone, north of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on Tuesday, according to the Sudanese doctors union.

The union said that several people were injured, a number of them critically. The injured are being treated for burns in local hospitals.
