Salah in contention to play for Liverpool against Napoli

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is likely to feature in their UEFA Champions League game against Napoli on Wednesday.
Reds manager Jürgen Klopp gave an update on the Egyptian’s fitness following the 2-1 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Salah limped off during the latter stages of Liverpool’s 2-1 win at home against Leicester City with an ankle injury following a tackle by Foxes midfielder Hamza Choudhury on October 5.
Salah missed two of Egypt’s 2021 AFCON qualifiers during the international break and was an unused substitute in the win at Selhurst Park.
“Mo is all good. He couldn’t train for nine days; he was with the Egyptian national team, went home and trained kind of 60 or 70 per cent the day before yesterday,” Klopp said on Liverpool’s official website.
“We didn’t start him, we wanted to bring him on as you probably saw but then we scored. So, we could rest him today, that’s really good and Wednesday he will be back,” Klopp added.
Liverpool can guarantee qualification for the knockout stage of the Champions League with a win at Anfield.
