Passenger plane crashes in eastern DR Congo

Several people are feared dead after a passenger plane believed to be carrying about 17 people crashed in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, on Sunday.

The plane, operated by a company named Busy Bee, crashed as it took off to Beni, according to a statement by the office of the governor of North Kivu province.

The statement gave no details of any casualties or fatalities.
