Morocco elected president of Afro-Asian Federation of Insurance

Morocco was elected president of the Board of Directors of the Afro-Asian Federation of Insurance for a two-year term.

This election was held at the General Assembly of the Federation in Marrakesh, which gathered more than 900 participants representing insurance and reinsurance companies from Asia, Africa, the Middle East.

The conference under the theme “The new Economic Barriers in the Afro-Asian Insurance Markets” is held every two years alternately in Africa or in Asia.

The Federation was established in September 1964, to promote cooperation among insurance and reinsurance companies in Africa and Asia.
