Kenya School of Government launches China Book Corner
The Kenya School of Government (KSG) unveiled the China Book Corner on Wednesday.
This initiative aims to provide Chinese literature, language resources, and cultural insights for scholars and students.
“Accessing Chinese information and literature has been very difficult in the past years so the establishment of this corner will enable access to Chinese literature which will help expand knowledge,” he said.
Speakers at the event also highlighted the longstanding relationship between China and KSG and expressed excitement about future collaborations.
“Our faculties have benefitted from the scholarships and PhD programmes from universities in China, we thank you tremendously for this,” said Humphrey Mokaya, Director at the Security Management Institute.
“We are also aware that we have two or more students who are doing their master’s and PhD programmes in China. We applaud your government and shall remain indebted for that generosity.”
