Super Eagles meet fans in Egypt ahead of AFCON 2019
Nigerians in Egypt on Monday had a chance to meet the Super Eagles squad that will represent the West African country at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles met their countrymen in their training camp in Cairo, before their scheduled transfer to Alexandria where they will play their group stage matches.
The West Africans return to the continental stage for the first time since they were crowned champions in 2013. They did not qualify for the 2015 and 2017 editions.
We appreciate the support of Nigerians in Cairo who visited us in camp just to wish the team a very successful #TotalAFCON2019 campaign.

Nigeria has been pooled alongside Guinea, Madagascar and Burundi in Group B, and will begin its campaign against the East Africans on 22 June.
The Super Eagles have won the AFCON title three times in the competition’s history; coming in 1980, 1994, 2013.
Following the disappointment of not qualifying for the last two editions, coach Gernot Rohr will be hoping his charges can restore the lost glory and maybe clinch a fourth title.
