
China’s Huawei to expand footprint in Kenya’s IT solutions market
Innovation was the word of the day with Huawei showing off its capabilities. Highlighting products such as the Dorado 6,000, a faster more efficient way for banks, governments and businesses to store and process data.
Participants got an in-depth look into the company’s new product roll-out.The model goes up to the latest Dorado 18,000.
“How is it better than other storage in the market is that it is manufactured by Huawei themselves, which leads to higher availability and durability so it is know that Huawei’s flash drives are much durable to the competitors like we offer 3 million hours of durability.”says Seshan Senga Huawei Executive Product Manager,Southern Africa.
For over 20 years Huawei has been building an ecosystem in Africa.By showcasing new technologies it strives to build the continent’s capacity.
“We roll them out to Africa as soon as we roll them out to anywhere in the world so African companies can benefit. So African countries or governments can benefit as much as any other government or company around the world.”says Adam Lane,Huawei Public Affairs Director,Southern Africa
Huawei in the meantime looks to continue to grow its footprint, and established partnerships in Africa.
