Around 15,000 Mozambicans still need to be rescued from the devastation caused by Cyclone Idai, officials in the country have said.
The tropical cyclone swept through the country beginning last week, leaving a trail of destruction on roads, bridges, buildings and crop fields.
Earlier this week, President Filipe Nyusi said up to 1,000 people were feared dead from the effects of the cyclone. The official toll however stands at around 300 for now.
Officials say other victims are still stranded on rooftops and trees due to the high water levels and destroyed infrastructure.
Cyclone Idai came with strong winds which hit speeds of more than 177km/h.
Following the disaster, the UN has appealed for funding to help provide humanitarian supplies to those affected.
