Spokesman of leading Rwandan opposition politician found dead

Anselme Mutuyima, a spokesman for Rwandan opposition party, United Democratic Forces (FDU – Inkingi) was found dead on Sunday, the Rwandan Investigation Bureau has reported.
The 30-year-old, personal assistant to the leader of the party, Victoire Ingabire, was found dumped in Gishwati forest in Rwanda. It was not immediately clear how Mutuyimana died, but Rwandan authorities said that this was under investigation.
‘The investigation has started. No suspects so far.’ said Modeste Mbabazi, spokesman of the Rwanda Investigation Bureau.
According to Mutuyimana’s brother, the body had no visible wounds although there was some evidence of blood in the mouth.
Mutuyimana’s death is the latest of several in which dissidents have been found dead in Rwanda and in exile in unsolved cases recently. In 2010, the Democratic Green Party’s vice president, Andrew Kagwa Rwisereka was found dead while in 2014, exile former Rwandan intelligence chief Patrick Karegeya was also found murdered in a Johannesburg hotel room.
Ms Ingabire, one of the main opposition figures in the country insisted that justice was needed.
