Arsenal’s Gabonese star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stormed back to the top of the Premier League top scorers chart on Saturday after netting two goals to leapfrog Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Salah had taken the lead on Friday with a goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers, taking him to 11 goals so far this season.
Aubameyang got his chance to respond on Saturday against Burnley, and he took it well, netting twice to help Arsenal get back to winning ways and increase his Premier League goal tally to 12.
Arsenal won the game 3-1, with Alex Iwobi netting the third goal.
Aubameyang and Salah are followed by Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling and Tottenham Hotspurs’ Harry Kane, who are both on nine goals but with a game behind.
