Senegal has taken top spot in Africa in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

The Teranga Lions leapfrogged Tunisia, who themselves registered negative movement in the latest rankings.

The biggest gainer from Africa in the rankings is Sudan, which moved up eight places into position 127. Morocco and The Gambia each improved seven places.

Benin was the biggest loser from Africa, deteriorating seven places to position 94.
