Palestinian President visits Egypt for talks with El-Sisi

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is in Egypt, where he is scheduled to meet President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for bilateral talks.

Abbas arrived in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh on Friday to participate in the World Youth Forum at the invitation of El-Sisi.

The forum is a four-day event that will focus on discussions around peace, development and creativity.

The two presidents’ meeting will however various issues, including the latest Palestinian political developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.
