Train derails in Egypt leaving 12 people injured

A total of 12 people were wounded as a trained crashed in northern Egypt’s governorate of Menoufiya on Sunday, local media reported, citing Khaled Megahed, a spokesman for the Egyptian Health Ministry.

15 ambulances were sent to the site and the victims, mostly with slight injuries, were transported to local hospitals. The cause of the incident has not yet been revealed.
