Controversial Nigerian senator Dino Melaye says there was an attempt to arrest him at the international airport in the capital, Abuja, as he attempted to board a flight to Morocco.

 

Last month the Nigerian Police said he was wanted for questioning over allegations that he had given weapons to kidnappers.

The senator further tweeted this morning that he will avail to himself to the police for questioning .

I will make myself available to the police today. My resolve to speak the truth and defend the poor masses of NIGERIA is Total. We shall overcome!!!
