On Sunday much of the world saw a rare eclipse. The event was covered live by CCTV Africa’s Fahmida Miller in Turkana, Northern Kenya but many other African countries also witnessed this event.

Some of our audiences wrote to us on facebook to tell us about the eclipse in their country
Those in Northern Uganda were treated to a rare “hybrid” eclipse. CCTV’S Isabel Nakirya has the story.
Did you witness the eclipse yourself? Where were you? Send us your photographs to cctvafricanm@gmail.com or tweet then and use @cctvnewsafrica in the post. We’ll add them to this blog to share with our audiences.
