Kenyan champions Gor Mahia set to play Hull City in Nairobi
Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia are set to play against English Championship side Hull City on Saturday in Nairobi.
Gor booked their ticket for the friendly clash after beating fellow Kenyan side AFC Leopards in post-match penalties on 1 May.
This will be the second time the Kenyan champions will be facing an English side in 10 months, having played Everton FC in Dar es Salaam in July 2017.
The friendly game has prompted a postponement of Gor’s weekend league fixture which would have seen them play Ulinzi Stars.
The postponement of that game was confirmed by the Kenya Premier League Limited, which said that a new date would be announced in due course.
The Hull City team is expected to jet into the East African country on Friday.
An Advance party has however already jetted into the country ahead of the team’s maiden tour of Kenya.
Fans across the country are already gearing up for that clash, and have taken to social media to express their anticipation.
