Mouthwatering clashes await football fans across the world as the UEFA Champions League moves on to the quarter final stage.

A draw conducted on Friday provided fans with a lot to look forward to, as European football elite sides are drawn against each other.

Defending champions Real Madrid have been draw against last season’s runners up Juventus, with both hoping to make it back to the final.

When the two sides met in the 2017 Champions League final played in Wales on June 3, the Spanish giants carried the day, earning them a record 12th title.

Juventus will definitely be looking for revenge when the two sides meet, but will have to be on their best gear to do so.

The second game will see Barcelona take on Italian side AS Roma, largely considered the underdogs in this stage of the competition.

German giants Bayern Munich will take on Sevilla, which dumped Manchester United out of the competition after registering a historic 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

The final game of the quarter final stage will see English sides Manchester City and Liverpool battle each other for a spot in the semis.

Also, UEFA conducted the quarter final stage draw for the Europa League.

English side Arsenal has been put in the path of Russian side CSKA Moscow. The Gunners may be seeking to emulate Chelsea and Manchester United’s wins of the competition as a way of securing a Champions League spot for next season.

Arsenal is currently ranked fifth in the Premiership with 48 points, 33 points adrift of the runaway league leader Manchester City.

The other games will see RB Leipzig take on Marseille, Atletico Madrid battle Sporting Lisbon and Lazio play Red Bull Salzburg.

The first legs of the Champions League games will be played on April 3 and 4, while those of the Europa League will be staged on April 5.
