Wheelbarrow bomb kills man pushing it in Somalia

Read < 1 minute

A wheelbarrow bomb on Tuesday went off outside a police station in Bossaso, a port city in Somalia’s Puntland region, killing the lone man that was puching it, Reuters reports, quoting  a police source.

According to the source, security personnel had stopped a man outside a police station’s checkpoint, then “suddenly his wheelbarrow exploded. Only the wheelbarrow man died.”

There has been no confirmation on who was behind the attack.

The bombing comes just 10 days after a blast shattered a building in the capital Mogadishu, killing more than 350 people and injuring over 500 others.

That blast was the biggest to rock the Horn of African nation in years.
