Morocco sends well wishes ahead of 19th CPC congress

Leaders from Africa will be closely watching developments from the 19th CPC congress, which begins on Wednesday in the Chinese capital, Beijing.

Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation-Nasser Bourita, has expressed his well wishes and expectations for the upcoming congress.

Bourita praised China’s role internationally, calling it a pride of the third world countries.

“I believe the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be a successful congress.China not only plays an important role in the international arena.and it is also the pride of the third world countries in all aspects of political and economic and diplomacy,” he said.

He expressed optimism that the congress will provide an opportunity for President Xi Jinping to continue his development agenda, which he believes will be beneficial to the whole world.

“The CPC will undoubtedly become another opportunity for President Xi Jinping to continue to promote reform and development. So we sincerely wish this important meeting to be held successfully. And we also believe that the outcome of the meeting will not only benefit the Chinese people, but also China’s friends all around the world, he noted.

A proposed amendment to the Constitution of the Communist Party of China (CPC) that was passed at the Seventh Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee is expected to be submitted at the 19th Congress.

Also expected  to be submitted during the next edition are; a report to be made by the 18th CPC Central Committee to the 19th CPC National Congress and a work report of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) to the congress.
