Young Africans meet in Washington to boost Africa-U.S. ties

1000 of the most promising young leaders from sub-Saharan Africa are in Washington D.C. for the Mandela Fellowship Summit.

Started in 2014, it’s part of U.S. efforts to invest in the next generation of African leaders and improve ties with the continent.
