Ghana’s government biggest trouble is job creation

Ghanaian President Akufo-Addo has said that his government’s biggest challenge is addressing job creation, reports Citi FM.

“…the greatest challenge we face is the creation of jobs,” President Akufo-Addo said at a press conference.

Ghana has recently launched a National Entrepreneurship and Innovation plan with 10 million cedis (2,283,700USD) that will provide seed funding to help start-ups and entrepreneurs to establish themselves in business as part of it measures to tackle the high levels of unemployment in the country.

The Ghanaian President who has been in office for only 6 months added that on the major sectors that his government is targeting to create jobs is agriculture will enforce a Planting for Food and Jobs program.
