Europe restricts sale of inflatable boats to Libya

The European Union has reached an agreement to restrict the sale of inflatable boats and outboard motors to Libya as part of efforts to curtail migrant smuggling across the Mediterranean, reports VOA.
EU foreign Ministers said the measure will be extended to boats and motors transiting through the EU but will not affect fishermen or those will legitimate needs.
Europe is facing a migrant crisis with the numbers of migrants being smuggled to its shores going up in recent weeks.
