Tanzania’s government sets aside $94 million to boost farming

The Tanzanian government has promised to issue $94 million in loans to farmers to raise agricultural production.

The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank will disburse the money as soft loans.

The initiative is part of the government’s National Development Plan – which aims to improve the agricultural value chain.
