China to boost bilateral ties with Kenya

Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that China is willing to work with Kenya to push forward the bilateral ties to new stages, reports Xinhua.

President Xi made the remarks while meeting with the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday on the sidelines of the Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation that was being held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, in China.

The Kenya president was part of the world delegation that attended the two-day Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation that concluded on Monday.

“Commended President Xi Jinping for his vision in proposing the Belt and Road Initiative which reflects China’s quest for shared prosperity,” said President Uhuru on twitter.
