Congolese-born Manchester United youngster Axel Tuanzebe has received immense praise for his performances in his first Premier League game that came against Arsenal on Sunday.

The 19-year-old was expected to have a rough time at The Emirates, having been tasked with handling Arsenal Star Alexis Sanchez, but surprised everybody with the calm manner in which he managed to keep the Chilean quiet throughout the game.

Time and again, the 28-year-old tried to go past the teenager, but failed in all those attempts.

Even though United lost the game, everyone was left in awe by Tuanzebe’s guts that already have people talking of him having usurped that right-back position.

After the game, his manager Jose Mourinho has nothing but praise for him saying his performances will live in Sanchez’s memory for some long time.

“He [Tuanzebe] did an amazing job. I think Alexis now knows his name. The kid played very well,” Mourinho said.

On Twitter, fans flooded praise for the youngster for his contribution to the team, particularly his handling of Arsenal’s attacks.
