Uganda withdraws troops searching for Kony and the LRA

Uganda has confirmed the withdrawal of its troops from the Central African Republic where they have been hunting for Joseph Kony and his Lord’s Resistance Army rebels.

The spokesperson for Uganda’s army says that although the warlord Kony remains at large, his group has been neutralized. The troops will return by May 2018.
