Ghana Football Association re-appoints former coach Kwesi Appiah

Read < 1 minute

Former Ghana head football team coach Kwesi Appiah has been reappointed by the Ghana Football Association.

Appiah has reportedly been offered a two-year contract that begins on 1 May, with the tactician also set to take charge of the national team for locally-based players.

He returns to the job after Avram Grant stepped down as coach after this year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

This marks Appiah’s second stint in charge, with Appiah having worked as Sudanese side Al Khartoum’s manager since leaving the Black Stars.
