
Seychelles President starts official visit in Kenya
The President of Seychelles Danny Faure meets with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta as he begins state visit in Kenya.
President Faure has said that Kenya has developed human capital through its education system. Seychelles wishes to benefit more from Kenya’s human resource during a press briefing according to NTV.

Seychelles is working towards to strengthening relations with Kenya and partnering in strengthening fisheries and Defence sectors in Kenya.
“Seychelles has been importing meat & poultry from Elsewhere but now we want to start importing meat and poultry from Kenya” said President Faure
President Kenyatta said that Kenya also wants to deepen corporation with Seychelles and exchange intelligence to enable us combat drug trafficking.
Tourism is a major foreign exchange earner for Kenya and Seychelles and the two countries share similar product – beach tourism. Both countries stand to benefit as there are various opportunities of cooperation in the sector which will include sharing of best practices, training and exchange programmes, joint marketing strategies and joint packaging of the destinations.
“Kenya and Seychelles share warm and cordial bilateral relations. Areas of interest between both countries include Maritime Security,” Kenyan State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu said on Sunday.
He further added that Kenya stands to benefit by encouraging qualified Kenyans to seek employment in Seychelles “Seychelles requires well-trained and skilled human capital for employment in various sectors of their economy,”
