Nollywood injects hope in Nigeria’s contracting economy

Nigeria’s economy may be finding respite in its booming film industry- known as Nollywood.

Africa’s second largest petroleum producer, has seen crude oil prices drop at international markets- causing a decrease in foreign reserves. Now the country is diversifying into more vibrant sectors such as film.
