Fresh off the $15 billion sale of his autonomous vehicle technology firm Mobileye to Intel, Amnon Shashua’s next start-up, OrCam, uses similar computer vision technology to help the visually impaired.

OrCam’s system can read newspapers, street signs and recognize common items, dictating words into the user’s ear.

Shashua has his sights set on taking his next start-up public by the end of next year.
