South Africa’s ruling African National Congress says it will ask the justice ministry to go back to the drawing board and follow proper procedure for that country to withdraw from the International Criminal Court.
South Africa issued a notice to formally revoke its withdrawal from the ICC. That decision followed a High Court order last month that found the notice to be unconstitutional.
