AU signs deal over payment of Burundi’s troops serving in AMISOM

The African Union and Burundi have signed an agreement over payment of Burundian troops serving in AMISOM.

But even as the two struck a deal, an earlier decision by the European Union to cut funding to AMISOM continues to haunt the operations of the peacekeepers serving in Somalia.
