US Justice Department files a court motion against the suspension of President Trump’s travel ban
The United States Justice Department has filed an appeal that is calling for a pause to the decision by a US judge to temporarily halt the enforcement of President Donald Trump’s travel ban, citing that blocking the travel ban “harms the public” and “second-guesses the President’s national security judgment.” according to a report by CNN.
“We’ll win,” Trump said. “For the safety of the country, we’ll win.”
US District Court Judge James Robart halted the implementation of several key provisions of Trump’s executive order that banned foreign nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US for 90 days, suspended all refugee entry to the US for 120 days and indefinitely suspended entry for Syrian refugees.
People from the seven countries with Visas to the USA have been rushing to get flights to America taking advantage of the opportunity as US customs officials gave airlines to resume boarding banned travellers.
