
Obama speaks out on Trump’s travel ban: Says American values at stake

Former US President Barack Obama has expressed his objections to any faith-based discrimination in regards to Donald Trump’s travel ban.
“President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country,” Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis said.
According to the statement, Obama was pleased with “Citizens exercising their constitutional right to assemble, organise and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”
For a second straight day, dozens of protesters have rallied at airports in California to demonstrate against U.S. President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
