
EU to train & equip Libyan coast guards to help limit migrant flow

Migrants coming from Libya are a major concern for Europe. The European commission now says it is working to empower the Libyan Coast Guard and create an anti-trafficking network in the coming two months.
UNHCR says 3,899 migrants have so far arrived to Europe this year.
EU wants to be more prepared this year to face illegal migration through the Mediterranean Sea.

The European commission discussed increasing its naval missions and establishing rescue operations in the sea.
