Protesters gathered at multiple airports across the US in response to Trump’s entry ban. Protesters at New York’s JFK airport held signs saying “Let them in” and “No Ban No Wall”.

At San Francisco International Airport, demonstrators celebrated after a federal judge in Brooklyn temporarily halted parts of Trump’s order.

Protests also took place at other major US airports, including Los Angeles International and Chicago O’Hare.

The International Air Transport Association says the ban caught the US airline industry unprepared, with flight crews from the affected states also barred from entering.
