Chinese Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group has launched its internship project that invites fans from around the world to intern in the corporation and experience Chinese culture.
XCMG is China’s largest industry group and the 5th largest construction machinery company in the world.
Recruitment of interns began on various social media platforms earlier in December and attracted over 10,600 applications.
Five applicants have been successful so far including two from Africa; Nigeria and Namibia while the rest have been from Turkey, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
They were allowed a 4 day internship that introduced them to workshop operations and the process to final production.
They even got a chance to operate engineering machinery under guidance from the experts.
