China is offering its condolences to the family of the late Russian ambassador to Turkey.
The Chinese foreign ministry says the country supports the efforts by Turkey and Russia in combating terrorism.
Hua says world powers should work on securing a truce and starting political negotiations to solve the Syrian crisis. Anti-terrorism efforts and the delivery of humanitarian aid should also be improved. Hua says the UN should help mediate between the sides involved in the conflict. She adds that China will play a constructive role in finding a solution.
