Tens of thousands of Cubans packed into Santiago’s revolution square for the final mass tribute to the late Fidel Castro.

Ever since he died aged 90 on November 25th, there has been a massive outpouring of grief and support for the man whose title in the Historic Leader of the Revolution.

Addressing the crowd, his younger brother, President Raul Castro, expressed his and the Castro family’s appreciation.

Most of his speech looked back at Fidel’s achievements, but finally looking forward he issued a warning, perhaps aimed at the future US President Donald Trump, that Cuba would not compromise on its principles.

“I reiterate the most profound appreciation for the countless gestures and respect for Fidel, his ideas and his work which continue to arrive from all corners of the world,” he said.
