New app in Uganda bridges the gap between rural and urban learning

A Ugandan app developer has designed a digital platform that allows students and teachers to share academic materials.

What’s unique about it is that it has both online and offline capabilities — meaning pupils in rural areas can also benefit, even without an internet connection. The developer says the app is helping to bridge the gap between rural and urban education in Uganda.
