Kenyan youths denounce ethnicity

Politics in Kenya are divided along ethnic lines, nomadic cattle raids are usually between different communities and economic empowerment is believed to favour other tribes more than the other.

Politicians have used the ethnic card to get popular and get political points especially during the election campaigns.

With Kenya’s general elections scheduled to take place next year, some Kenyans have taken to twitter to denounce tribalism. This move is also to stop any post-election ethnic clashes such the ones experienced in 2007 from happening again.
