The Uganda police and military are jointly investigating an alleged fake arms contract worth millions of dollars.

The deal was reportedly brokered between a Polish weapons manufacturer and an imposter pretending to be a senior officer in the Ugandan army.

The deal was worth $120 million.

A suspect identified as Sam Simbwa is already in police custody custody.
